Assignment 6: Print CSS

Due Date: March 21, 2017 before 11:59pm

Overview: This assignment will test your understanding of CSS, specifically CSS targeting print-versions of a web page.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this assignment, please don't hesitate to contact your instructor at or at 520-276-6433.

Assignment: For this assignment, you will be creating a CSS file which will be applied to the web page when being printed. You will not be creating an HTML file! The HTML file will be provided for you by the instructor in your student directory on the ISTA 230 web server. Using your ISTA 230 web account, you will be able to log in to the ISTA 230 server and will find a directory named "assignment6". Within this directory are the files for this assignment. The HTML file is named 'index.html'. Do not modify any other content in the HTML file other than the <head> element in order to complete this assignment! Additionally, you will find a directory named 'css' which contains a CSS file named 'style.css'.

Your job will be to create a CSS file named 'print.css' and apply it to the web page so that it modifies the display of the page when printed. Again, you should only modify the contents of the <head> element in the HTML file and you should NOT modify the contents of 'style.css'.

Using what we have learned in class, you are to design a print-specific CSS file that meets the following criteria:

Your work will be graded on the following criteria:
